Poker Muck Hand

These are standard hand rankings for most poker games and apply to all high-hand poker variations including Texas Hold'em, Omaha and Stud. As a noun, muck refers to the discards and other dead cards piled in front of the dealer. In most poker games, once a card is discarded or misdealt, it is out of play for the remainder of the hand. It is the dealer's responsibility to collect these 'dead cards' and keep them face down in a muck on the playing table. Just as in live poker, players online can usually choose to muck or show their losing hands at showdown when it’s their turn to reveal their holding. (Check the appropriate options in the settings tab.) However, on most sites, embedded in the hand history is the contents of the losing player’s hand, regardless of whether they show. (n.) The area on the table where all of the dead cards are placed. Any hand that was folded and all burned cards are placed in the muck. (v.) To throw your hand away into the muck. Mucked Hands at Showdown
We're strongly considering removing this feature.
The History:
1. Online was like live poker, and a player could muck their hand at showdown and no one knew what they had.
2. Sites put mucked showdown hands in text hand histories on the player's computer. Players enjoy this data both for hand-reading as well as ensuring no collusion is taking place.
3. Sites put mucked showdown hands in the replayer.

4. 3rd-party software read the hand histories and displayed the mucked showdown hands on the table a second after showdown.
ACR currently has mucked hands in the text file and in the replayer. However, many players (mostly recreational players) do not know this exists.
We're strongly considering displaying all showdown hands at the table at the moment of showdown. There would no longer be a muck showdown hand feature.
